We ventured deep into the Amazon for Brazil's high-stakes 2022 election, and again in 2025 when the country hosted international climate negotiations. I lead production on cross-platform content from concept to delivery, working across CBC's editorial, finance and security teams. Once in the field, I coordinated coverage, and operated as a journalist, field producer and director. Stories ranged from tracking down illegal fires in Rondônia, to camping with researchers in Amazonas, to meeting with Indigenous leaders in Amapá.
