In 2025, 15 scientists joined the Canadian navy for its first-ever voyage to Antarctica. My team secured exclusive access aboard the ship for the 30-day expedition. This was the largest project I've coordinated and executed to date. It was also CBC News' first time reporting from Antarctica. As the lead producer, my role spanned chasing, pitching, logistics, travel, budgets, security, coverage roadmaps, technical needs, research, story development, directing, photography, writing, social media, guiding edits, mixing radio and more. We provided live and packaged updates daily across TV, radio, social channels, and CBC's site. When we returned, we released a one-hour prime time special on CBC's main channel.
